Just a few months ago, I announced the opening of the new five-star family hotel Cavallino Bianco Caorle-Venice on my blog (Link). Back then, all I had were a few rendering photos, fragments of information and a long list of promises. And today, I’m excited to be one of the first to share the real photos from our family holiday* at Cavallino Bianco Caorle-Venezia, along with the real story behind this fabulous new destination for families with children on Italy’s Adriatic coast.
I have so many thoughts and impressions to share, so let’s take it step by step.
By the way, here, on my blog for modern women, Maxima Muse, I’ve shared even more impressions from our stay, with a special focus on the hotel’s interiors.
We visited Cavallino Bianco Caorle-Venezia just three days after it opened. With our own background in hospitality, we honestly didn’t expect the hotel to be so polished and perfectly prepared to welcome its very first guests.
One of the first things that impressed us was the design and interior. Inspired by Venetian architecture, the hotel is ultra-modern and absolutely stunning; a kind of contemporary fairytale world that beautifully combines functionality, modern aesthetics, and a warm, playful atmosphere.
The best words that come to mind when describing the hotel are the German word Plüsch (something soft and cuddly) and Contemporary. To me, it felt clear that so much of the hotel had been imagined through the eyes of a child. I personally loved the mix of modern and natural materials, like decorative wallpapers, ceramics, glass and wood.
Right next to the lobby, you’ll find several spacious and beautifully designed children’s areas. There are also multiple restaurants, including one exclusively for adults and another where children are whisked away by the Lino Land club for their own fun mealtimes.
And yes, Lino Land itself was another highlight. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more beautifully designed kids’ club. Everything is done in soft, natural tones and materials that feel calm, warm and inviting. The space is divided according to the children’s ages and interests. Our daughter is nine years old, and she was thrilled to discover so many cool toys and activities. It also gave us a little time to slip away to the adult-only spa and enjoy the saunas and the infinity pool overlooking the sea.
There are several outdoor and indoor pools and wellness areas. Once again, everything feels thoughtfully created for families, gentle pool depths, playful water elements, and shared family spaces where you can simply relax together without ever feeling like you’re disturbing anyone else.
Our room felt less like a standard hotel room and more like a thoughtfully designed space. Our daughter especially loved the comfortable standard beds for children, such a refreshing change from the usual bunk beds found in hotels. Having two bathrooms also felt like a true luxury and made the stay even more stress-free for us.
And finally, another major highlight was the hotel’s private beach. I would describe it as incredibly spacious and exceptionally beautiful. The hotel was still working on the landscaping and greenery in preparation for the summer season, but the elegant private cabanas were already in place.
Honestly, having your own roomy cabana on the beach, with so much space around it, for play and privacy, especially during the busy summer months, is such a rare luxury. Most hotels in popular destinations in Italy simply cannot offer this kind of experience.
Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t always ideal during our stay, and we didn’t quite dare to swim in the sea. Instead, we took walks along the shoreline, barefoot on the sand and in the water, all the way to Caorle, a beautiful little seaside town located just a ten-minute walk from the hotel.
“It’s family time, live it now.”
To me, a truly great family hotel is not only about entertaining children or giving parents space to exhale. It’s also about creating opportunities for the whole family to reconnect. Cavallino Bianco Caorle-Venezia feels very intentionally designed around this balance. It’s probably not a coincidence that the hotel’s motto is “It’s family time, live it now.” There are spaces where you can truly switch off, and others where you can simply enjoy being together as a family.
Every evening, we found ourselves sitting in a cosy corner of the hotel lobby, listening to live piano music and slowly winding down after the day. The weather during our stay was still quite cool, so we could only imagine how even more magical this place must feel on warm summer evenings.
Cavallino Bianco Caorle-Venezia is a five-star family hotel, and it genuinely feels like one. It is made for families who value comfort, aesthetics and functionality. And while it is certainly a premium experience, you can genuinely feel where that value comes from.
During our stay, I captured hundreds of photos, and I’m delighted to share some of them with you. I invite you to discover Cavallino Bianco Caorle-Venezia through my lens and form your own impressions of this remarkable family hotel.
